PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for fixing a rubber or plastic pipe, by which the diameter of the whole circumference of the rubber or plastic pipe is expanded and the rubber or plastic pipe can be pressed and fixed onto a pit wall for installing a sewage pipe-and-culvert of a manhole. SOLUTION: In the fixture A for fixing the rubber or plastic pipe, one end (a) of a metallic band 1 having elasticity is fixed on one side of the metallic band 1, leaving excess length 1 from the other end (b) of the metallic band 1 while the fixture A is molded in a circular shape 2, a projecting section 3 projected to the inside is formed to an arcuate section positioned to the intermediate section of the excess length L of the circle 2, the fixture A is mounted inside the base section of the rubber or plastic pipe 4, the diameter of the base section of the rubber or plastic pipe 4 is expanded by pushing back the projecting section 3 to the outside and returning the fixture to the state of the circle 2, and the base section of the pipe 4 can be pressed and fixed onto the pit wall 7 for installing the sewage pipe-and-culvert of the manhole 5.
