Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear power plant improving the reliability. SOLUTION: This nuclear power plant is provided with metalhydroxide injection means 49, 51, and 53 injecting solution or dispersion of hydroxide of a metallic element into a cooling material of a nuclear reactor 5 and the solution or dispersion of hydroxide of the metallic element is injected into the cooling material. The hydroxide of the metallic element is separated as gelatin sediment and become colloidal particles in the aqueous solution. Water molecules are adsorbed on the surface of the colloidal particles to be formed into water jacket. The water jacket suppresses the enlargement of the grain size of the metalhydroxide or acceleration of the crystallization. The clogging of a channel such as the pipe 51 and the pump 53 for injecting the metalhydroxide and the increase in the friction in a sliding part of the pump 53 are hardly generated so as to improve the reliability of the nuclear power plant.
