Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic still camera reducing a time-lag after release by performing AE, AF and AWB, using a single imaging device and eliminating movable parts as much as possible. SOLUTION: For the electronic camera using the imaging device capable of arbitrarily setting timing and order to transfer signals from horizontally and vertically located respective light-receiving pixels to the register for transfer of a light non-receiving part, this camera is provided with buffer memories for one image and first and second operating means, after the imaging device starts exposure, an exposure signal is outputted from the light-receiving pixel designated by the first operating means at a prescribed time interval and when it is determined that this signal is within the range of an optimal exposure level, light-measuring operation is performed. At the same time, range finding operation is performed by reading the signal of the light-receiving pixel designated by the second operating means. Afterwards, an object is photographed, an image signal is stored in the buffer memory and color-measuring operation is performed. |
