Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gel-type electrolyte battery, that can improve impregnation of a gel-type electrolyte into an electrode-active- material layer of an electrode raw-plate. SOLUTION: A gel-type electrolyte layer is made by applying a gel-type electrolyte onto an electrode raw-plate 23, which is formed by making an electrode-active material layer on an electrode-current collector body. In this case, temperatures at individual portions in a booth 29, as environmental temperatures in the surroundings of the application part where the gel-type electrolyte is applied, are controlled within the range where the gel-type electrolyte is maintained in a liquid condition, desirably to be set within the range from 40 deg.C to 100 deg.C, and the gel-type electrolyte is applied onto the electrode raw-plate 23 by an application head 24.
