MANIPULATING MECHANISM FOR BIDET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidet capable of getting the same manipulating feeling in either right sleeve type or left sleeve type by only exchanging one of gears transmitting a manipulating force of a control knob. SOLUTION: In the manipulating mechanism for flow rate regulation provided at a sleeve of a bidet having either left sleeve or right sleeve, as a control knob 25 and a flow rate regulation valve 70 are connected through a power transmission mechanism constituted of a transmission gear 26 and a power gear 77, the gear ratio can be changeably set in accordance with the left sleeve or the right sleeve on which the control knob is provided. Accordingly, the same manipulating mechanism can be used and hence, there is no bothersome works in production, inventory control, etc. The parts can be used in common maximally. Further, no incompatible feeling arises in the manipulating force of the right and left sleeves. If at least one of the transmission gear 26 and the power gear 77 is made exchangeable, the manipulating force can be easily adjusted.
