Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively detect which side, right or left, of an automobile an identification member lies in, in a band free system. SOLUTION: The automobile comprises a recognizing device 1 capable of remotely exchanging data with the identification member 11 that a user carries or has so as to allow access to the automobile when the identification member 11 is recognized by the recognizing device 1. The recognizing device 1 is connected to a pair of side antennas 2, 3. Each antenna, when it is supplied with a standard power, includes a cover zone that includes the inner zone of the automobile, expands sideward on both sides of the automobile, and allows communication between the recognizing device and the identifying device. When an identifying means lies in the cover zone of at least one antenna, response to a user's operation for an external member provided on one side of the automobile, the recognizing device 1 supplies the standard power to the antenna provided on the same side as the external member, and supplies a small power to the antenna provided on the opposite side of the automobile so as reduce the cover zone (Z'1).
