Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly converge a printing density to a target value immediately after starting printing. SOLUTION: An ink supplied from an ink fountain 1 is preliminarily supplied in a state in which a downstream side roller 9 is separated from a predetermined upstream side roller 8 of a plurality of rolls 2, 5, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 prior to starting printing. In this case, the ink supplied from the ink fountain 1 to the roller 8 is consumed by ink consuming mechanisms 18, 30.
