INDWELLING NEEDLE ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly having excellent operability for piercing a blood vein and connecting an infusion line or the like and having high safety for disposal or the like. SOLUTION: This indwelling needle assembly 1 is provided with an outer needle hub 3 having a lumen section 31, a hollow outer needle 2 fixed to the outer needle hub 3, an inner needle hub 5, an inner needle 4 insertable into the outer needle 2 fixed to the inner needle hub 5, a protector 6 movable relatively to the inner needle hub 5 and capable of storing at least the needle tip 41 of the inner needle 4, and a pair of operating members 7 having a coupling section 72 installed on the outer needle hub 3 and capable of being coupled with the inner needle hub 5 and a blocking section 73 capable of blocking the middle of the lumen section 31 of the outer needle hub 3. The operating members 7 can conduct an action to release the coupling between the coupling section 72 and the inner needle hub 5 and an action of the blocking section 73 to block the outer needle hub 3 nearly concurrently or continuously.
