Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest device of which structure is simple, and of which height is adjustable. SOLUTION: On a seat back, a rack 24 approximately in the vertical direction is provided, and on the armrest main body, a rotation-operating shaft 35 is rotatably provided. On the rotation-operating shaft 35, a pinion 40 which is engaged with the rack 24 is provided, and a brake 36 which stops the rotation of the rotation-operating shaft 35 is provided. When the rotation-operating shaft 35 on the armrest main body side is rotate-operated, the pinion 40 moves in the vertical direction while engaging with the rack 24 on the seat back side. Thus, the height of the armrest main body 4 can be adjusted on a manner to meet a user.
