Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow plural processors to access a shared memory and to allocate a fixed period for letting each of the processors access the shared memory in circulation. SOLUTION: There arbitration and synchronization method and system for enabling the plural processors 12 to access the shared memory 14 are provided with an arbitrator 16. The arbitrator 16 can be operated together with the processors so as to permit each of the processors to access the memory in the circulation for a prescribed period. During an operation, the period of a time frame is related to the respective processors. Then, the period of the time frame is counted. When the counted period becomes the period related to the processor, the arbitrator permits the processor exclusive access to the shared memory in the period related to the processor.
