Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that is excellent in the points of the shorter treating time and the lower treating cost as compared with commonly known methods by improving the method for thermally treating fire grate ash produced from refuse incineration equipment. SOLUTION: Fire grate ash (12) is directly led to a rotary tubular furnace (10) from a slag pit (7) through a feeder (15), and exhaust gas (14) generated inside the rotary tubular furnace (10) at the time of thermal treatment is returned and guided to an incineration chamber (5) of refuse incineration equipment and is guided together with the exhaust gas (22) of refuse incineration.
