COTTER JOINT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance tightening strength by preventing the looseness and slipping-off of a cotter tightening a segment, various concrete members and the like. SOLUTION: In a cotter joint device wherein C-shaped joint fittings 11, 11 having a cross sectional lip channel type slot 12 are opposed to insert a cross sectional H-shaped cotter 16 into the slots 12, 12 incorporated mutually in the form of a cross sectional H-shape, bolt holes 22, 22 are drilled in the neighborhood of the center part of the right and left flange parts 19, 19 of the cross sectional H-shaped cotter 16. In addition, bottom face parts 12a, 12a having prescribed thickness are formed on the C-shaped joint fittings 11, 11, and the locking part 23 of bolts 21, 21 inserted in the bolt holes 22, 22 is provided on the bottom face parts 12a, 12a.
