Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a threaded type steel pipe pile and method for constructing the pile as follows: (1) no vibration and no soil discharge work are possible to get, and application scope for threaded type steel pipe piles that can achieve bigger bearing end power is expanded up to larger diameter of steel pipe piles, (2) in relation to a base pile which is acted big horizontal force or bending moment from upper part work, head-enlarged steel pipe piles which can be designed economically, is made possible to be applied to threaded type steel pipe piles at low cost and without any difficulty in design and execution, (3) penetration resistance acted to an enlarged diameter section during construction work is little, as well as production cost for the enlarged diameter section is controlled low. SOLUTION: The threaded type steel pipe pile comprises a lower side steel pipe 2 which has wings 10 at least at the end or its vicinity, an upper side steel pipe 3 which has larger diameter than the lower side steel pipe 2, and a joint member 6 which connects the lower side steel pipe 2 and the upper side steel pipe 3. An outside diameter of the upper side steel pipe 3 is formed not bigger than an outside diameter of the wings 10, and an outside diameter of the joint member 6 is formed approximately the same with the outside diameter of the upper side steel pipe 3. The joint member 6 is made up of a circular steel plate or a doughnut- shaped steel plate that has an inside diameter smaller than an inside diameter of the lower side steel pipe 2, and is connected by welding to the bottom end of the upper side steel pipe 3 and to the top end of the lower side steel pipe 2. |
