SOLUTION: This print control device comprises a toner save pattern forming means that forms a toner save pattern corresponding to a resolution set by a host device or a resolution used at a time when an original document is read and a toner saving operation means that applies the toner save pattern formed by the toner save pattern forming means to print output data.
