PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contents from being illegally reproduced in addition to the preset number of copies, by presetting beforehand the allowable number of reproduction of the contents by a contents-supplier. SOLUTION: When the allowable number of reproduction and contents are recorded and the above contents are reproduced by using recording media on which a content-ID added corresponding to the contents is recorded, contents of the above content-ID on the recording medium is altered correspondingly to the reproduction, and reproduction is limited by both the allowable number of times and the difference in the content-ID.
