Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours for air bag assembly by allowing a cover body formed integrally with an air bag body to function in the same manner as a conventional jumping table. SOLUTION: This head protective air bag assembly structure is formed by disposing the air bag body 32 in folded up state inside the roof lining 26 of a body so as to pass over a pillar garnish 20. Over the pillar garnish 20, a cover body (cloth material 34) is wound on the outside of the air bag body 32. The cover body is expanded when the air bag body 32 is inflated so as to guide the development of the air bag body 32 toward the inside of a cabin.
