Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming a chevron shape on a flat food, capable of clearly forming a chevron shape on a flat food having elastic deformation properties and an apparatus for forming a chevron shape on a flat food, capable of continuously forming a chevron shape on a flat food. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for forming a chevron shape on a flat food is equipped with a forming means which applies pressure to a flat food F having elastic deformation properties for a fixed time and forms a chevron shape M on the surface of the flat food F. The forming means is provided with prismatic or cylindrical thrusting members P having ridge lines for thrusting a face on which the chevron shape M on the flat food F is formed in parallel at a fixed interval at least two parts, the flat food F is thrust by the thrusting members P, the interval between the ridge line parts of the thrusting members P is shortened and retained to form the chevron shape M on the flat food. The forming means is composed of a transporting conveyor and a forming conveyor and a great number of the thrusting members are arranged on the forming conveyor.
