SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit 26 removes a high-frequency component, etc., by a band-pass filter 34 from the output of a CCD 1 which is amplified by an initial-stage amplifier 30 and extracts a reset pulse with a 50% duty ratio with a wind pulse 35, a capacitor 36 cuts a CD component, and a zero-cross comparator 37 regenerate a pulse with a 50% duty ratio. A phase comparator 38 outputs a signal corresponding to the phase difference between a reference clock pulse and the pulse with the 50% duty ratio and a low-pass filter 39 inputs only the DC component of its output to VCO 40, which outputs sampling pulses to a double sample holding circuit 41.
