SOLUTION: The film thickness of gate oxidized films of FETs for light emission current control of the image display device having organic EL elements 3, the FETs 2 for light emission current control for the organic EL elements 3 and signal holding capacitors 4 connected to gate electrodes of the FETs 2 for light emission current control is made thicker than the gate oxidized films of FETs for data writing, by which the S value of the FETs 2 for light emission current control is made larger than the S value of the FETs 1 for data writing.
