Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste water containing mineral oil by which the waste mineral oil such as cutting oil contained in industrial waste water is decomposed rapidly and sufficiently, and the concentrations of the animal and vegetable oils, BOD, COD, etc., are decreased below the reference values in a short period and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: In the method for treating waste water containing mineral oil and its device, the waste water containing mineral oil is introduced into a first treating tank wherein aerobic mineral oil decomposing bacteria are living, diluted with water, aerated and biologically decomposed, then the obtained primary treated water is introduced into a second treating tank wherein aerobic mineral oil decomposing bacteria are living, diluted with water and aerated to decompose the mineral oil remaining in the bacteria, and then the obtained secondary treated water is discharged to the outside.
