Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange filter units in opposed relationship and to mutually connect the filtrate taking-out ports and washing fluid passing ports of the filter units in an immersion type filter apparatus wherein a plurality of filter units are connected. SOLUTION: A filter apparatus 70 is constituted by connecting a plurality of filter units 71. Each of the filter units 71 is constituted by superposing a pair of frame members 72, 72 one upon another through a peripheral spacer 73 to form an apparatus 74 and mounting filter cloths 75, 75 on both surfaces of the apparatus body 74. The interior of the apparatus body 74 is surrounded by the spacer 73 and the frame members 72 to become a filtrate chamber 76, and a filtrate outlet 77, a washing air inlet 78, a washing air outlet 79 and a washing water inlet 80 are provided so as to communicate with the filtrate chamber 76. In each filter unit 71, joint members 90 are protruded from the parts of these inlets 78, 80 and mutually connected by rubber rings 95 and hose bands 96.
