Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply connect filter units mutually in an immersion type filter apparatus wherein a plurality of filter units are connected. SOLUTION: A filter apparatus 10 is constituted by connecting a plurality of filter units 11. Each of the filter units 11 is constituted by superposing a pair of frame members 12, 12 one upon another through a peripheral spacer 13 to form an apparatus body 14 and mounting filter cloths 15, 15 on both surfaces of the apparatus body 14. The interior of the apparatus body 14 is surrounded by the spacer 13 and the frame members 12 to become a filtrate chamber 16, and a filtrate outlet 17, a washing air inlet 18, a washing air outlet 19 and a washing water inlet 20 are provided so as to communicate with the filtrate chamber 16. The filter units 11 are arranged in opposed relationship and the filtrate outlets 17 are abutted to each other and rods 40 are inserted in the rod insertion parts 22 of the units 11 and nuts 41 are tightened to mutually connect the units 11.
