TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT AND RECEPTION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that it is troublesome to perform channel switching, while viewing an electronic program and a relevant program cannot be deliberately indicated from a program broadcasting side, when channel switching to another program which is related to one program and is transmitted on a different channel. SOLUTION: Transmission equipment transmits channel information, which is information for channel switching, together with a grogram. Reception equipment is provided with a reception part which receives the program and channel information, a separation part which separates the program and channel information, a storage part where channel information is stored, and a channel switching part which takes out channel information stored in the storage part to perform channel switching.
