DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCAST RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television broadcast receiver which can automatically display an arrived mail on a monitor and can avoid the forgetting of the reading of the arrived mail. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a mail reception means receiving mail data transmitted by broadcasting, a means storing mail data received by the mail reception means in a non-volatile memory, a means which immediately displays reception mail data on the monitor when the mail reception means receives the mail data while a program is viewed and a means displaying mail data which is received by the mail reception means and is stored in the non- voltaile memory when the program is not viewed on the monitor when the next program is viewed.
