Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber optic thermometer which is resistant to electromagnetic noise, can be constituted in a multipoint thermometer extremely easily, can automatically make continuous measurement, has a light weight and a small size, and can be installed anywhere. SOLUTION: The fiber optic thermometer is constituted by attaching an optical strain sensor 2b to a bimetal 1 the shape of which varies depending upon the temperature and measures the temperature from the amount of strain of the bimetal 1 detected by means of the sensor 2b.
