TECHNIQUE FOR REFERRING TO FAULT INFORMATION SHOWING PLURAL RELATED FAULT UNDER DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for referring to fault information showing plural related faults under a distributed computing environment having plural processing nodes. SOLUTION: A first fault report is prepared at the time of detecting an initial fault state in a first program started in a distributing computer environment. A first identifier for uniquely identifying a first program fault report is assigned to the report. When a second program fault related with a first program fault state is detected by a second node, information related with the second program fault state is recorded so that a second program fault report can be prepared. A second identifier for uniquely identifying the second program fault report including the reference of the first program fault report to the first identifier is assigned to the second program fault report. Therefore, it is possible to extract the first program fault report by using the first identifier after extracting the second program fault report by using the second identifier. Therefore, a report related with the chain of the related program faults is prepared so as to be referred to later.
