Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven equipped with a resin-made protection cover with enough strength to which a rotary antenna can be fitted rotatably, through which a user can watch movement of the rotary antenna, and which is prevented from getting dissolved due to concentration of microwaves. SOLUTION: Two spots of a protection cover 9 made of translucent resin where microwaves tent to concentrate are scraped to make a thin part 11. With this, microwaves oscillated by a magnetron are prevented from centering on the protection cover 9, and so, the resin making up the protection cover 9 is prevented from getting dissolved due to temperature rise. Since the protection cover 9 is also made of the translucent resin, a user can look inside to watch the movement of the rotary antenna set near a feeding aperture.
