METHOD FOR RECORDING FAILURE HISTORY DURING COMPUTER DATA PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording failure history during computer data processing capable of obtaining failure information even when a command is not abnormally ended, and capable of surely executing failure analysis. SOLUTION: The information on a failure generated during the execution of the processing of a command is obtained as failure information (a step 110), and recorded in a failure information recording memory (a step 111). Also, when a SCSI RST signal is received from a host (a step 101), or when any signal other than a command is received from the host (a step 103), or when any processing under the command is not normally ended (a step 107), the failure information until that point of time is transferred from the failure information recording memory to a non-volatile memory or a recording disk (a step 109).
