PORTABLE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic equipment capable of extending the life of an internal power supply while attaining high speed data communication. SOLUTION: The portable electronic equipment is provided with a USB connector 4, an internal power supply 3, a USB controller 6 for executing data communication processing for executing data communication with a personal computer(PC) 2 connected to the connector 4, and a main CPU 7 for executing equipment operation processing for normal equipment operation. In the case of executing the data communication processing by the controller 6, power of high voltage is supplied from the PC 2 through the connector 4, and in the case of executing the equipment operation processing by the main CPU 7, power of low voltage is supplied from the internal power supply 3.
