Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowoff chamber capable of being easily assembled and reduced in cost and an air conditioner equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The blowoff chamber 1 comprises a top board 2, a baseplate 5, side plates 3 and 4 and a blowoff joint flange 6. The side plates 3 and 4 comprise clinches 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4b and 4c folded toward the interior of the blowoff chamber 1, and each clinch comprises retaining portions 9 formed thereon. Each of the top board 2 and the baseplate 5 comprises a plurality of nails 8 at the outer peripheries thereof. The top board 2 (baseplate 5) is fixed to each of the side plates 3 and 4 as each nail 8 is retained by its corresponding retaining portion 9.
