Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the position and a speed of a reciprocating vehicle. SOLUTION: This control apparatus includes a hydraulic cylinder apparatus 3 for driving a reciprocating carriage 1, a detection means 8 for detecting the carriage position, a directional/speed control valve 5 to activate the hydraulic cylinder apparatus 3, hydraulic pressure detection means 34, 35 for the hydraulic cylinder apparatus 3, and actuators 21, 22, 23 which actuate the directional/ velocity control valve 5, depending on the position of a vehicle 1 and its running resistance, which can be obtained from detected signals outputted from the detection means 8 for the vehicle position and the hydraulic pressure detection means 34, 35.
