SLIDING PISTON TYPE COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable sliding piston type compressor for eliminating a deviation of clearance by a thermal expansion difference of rocking bushes, improving a sliding characteristic, reducing a mechanical loss and improving sliding performance between the rocking bushes and an end plate. SOLUTION: In this sliding piston type compressor having a cylinder, an end plate for blocking up both end surfaces of the cylinder, a roller part being surrounded by the cylinder and the end plate and making revolving motion in the cylinder, a sliding piston having a blade part projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the roller part and rocking bushes 8a, 8b supporting the blade part so as to be capable of rocking motion and advancing and retreating motion and being positioned on the suction side and the delivery side, the cylinder axis directional length of the rocking bush 8b positioned on the delivery side is set shorter than the cylinder axis directional length of the rocking bush 8a positioned on the suction side before operating the compressor.
