SOLUTION: In the method for producing a double oriented silicon steel sheet having a hot rolling stage for steel containing 0.020 to 0.20% C, and in which Si and Mn satisfy the relational expressions of (Si+0.5Mn)=1.5, a cold rolling stage and a stage in which a separation agent for annealing containing decarburization promoting substance or decarburization promoting substance and Mn removal promoting substance is interposed between steel sheets, and annealing is performed, the finish rolling in the hot rolling stage is finished at the Al point of the steel or below, and the cold rolling stage includes process annealing for at least one time.
