Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an unsaturated bond-free, hydrogenated rosin by hydrogenating a rosin or its derivative under mild reaction conditions without removing unhydrogenated substances by purification. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a hydrogenated rosin comprises hydrogenating a rosin and/or a rosin derivative in the presence of at least one member of the group consisting of a palladium alumina-supported catalyst, a palladium surface-in-large-amount carrier-supported catalyst, and a palladium pore radius-controlled carrier-supported catalyst. The palladium carrier-supported catalyst is used in the method, and the hydrogenated rosin is obtained by the production method. |
