REFORMING EQUIPMENT AND POWER GENERATING SYSTEM BY SOLID POLYMER FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming equipment and a power generating system by a solid polymer fuel cell in which the reforming efficiency in the equipment can be improved. SOLUTION: A reforming equipment is characterized by the following equipment and passages; a combustion cylinder 303 which introduces the combustion gas from a combustion equipment 12 into the main body of the reforming equipment 304, the first passage 305 which is formed around the combustion cylinder 303 and connected with it at the front end allowing the combustion gas to pass through to the cylinder, a fuel material passage 307 containing a catalyst layer 306 for reforming the supplied fuel material which is formed around the first passage 305, the second passage 308 for the combustion gas which is formed around the fuel material passage, and lastly the third passage 309 which links the second passage 308 and the first passage 305 on the rear side of the combustion cylinder 303. This reforming equipment is also provided with a heat insulating member 310 on the inner surface of the combustion cylinder 303, which covers the third passage 309 and almost reaches the rear end of the catalyst layer 306.
