PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconvenience such as an unexpected light out of a discharge lamp, by preventing the detected voltage of the Emires detector circuit of a discharge lamp lighting device from rising with the adverse effect of an output light beam of another discharge lamp lighting device. SOLUTION: With the lighting fixture for lighting discharge lamps 13A, 13B by connecting them through output terminal boards 12A, 12B to output lines 11A, 11B of each discharge lamp lighting device 7A, 7B which is provided with an Emires detector circuit 23A, 23B for detecting an Emiers state due to rise of discharge lamp voltage, the output lines 11A, 11B of respective discharge lamp lighting device 7A, 7B are disposed in a position so as not to adversely affect the detected voltage V of the Emires detector circuit 23A, 23B of the other discharge lamp lighting device 7A, 7B.
