Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sorting electrode for a color cathode ray tube and its manufacturing method, in which a misalignment at the center of a screen on a mask plates is prevented from occurring, a crinkling and a twisting of a mask plate are inhibited, and a color sorting electrode of high quality with an advanced color sorting performance is able to be manufactured. SOLUTION: In the color sorting electrode for the color cathode ray tube composed of a flame 1 and a mask plate 6 fixed to the flame 1, the electron beam from the electron gun is sorted and allowed to pass through to a fluorescent screen. In manufacturing, when the mask plate 6 is fixed to the flame 1, it is fixed from a horizontal center portion (2 point positions 8 at the top and the bottom) of the screen to the left end and to the right end simultaneously or alternatively, after the mask plate 6 is positioned and arranged at a given position on the flame 1. |
