Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the seeking time of the seek control system of a magnetic disk device and to reduce the seeking sound of the control system by preventing the vibration of an arm supporting a head by mechanical resonance. SOLUTION: The magnetic disk device estimates the head position for the next sample and calculates the control command value of the next sample. The device interpolates from the control command value of the present sample to the control command value of the next sample in a time shorter than the sampling time of the seek control system and outputs the interpolated value as the control command value.
