Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device, capable of decreasing thickness protruding from the wall surface of a ceiling surface. SOLUTION: A ventilation device is constituted, such that a shutter 10 to open and close an air inlet 7 of a decorative frame 8 is opened and closed by movement in the longitudinal direction through lateral movement operation of a lever 11 and a shutter opening closing means 12 is provided to perform rise and fall movement in linkage with lateral movement of the lever 11, and by placing a decorative panel 15 in front of the decorative frame 8, such that a vent port 13 is formed in a periphery during release of the shutter 10 opened and closed by the shutter opening and closing means 12, the thickness of protrusion from a wall surface or a ceiling surface is decreased.
