Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a highly active polynuclear metallocene catalyst used for the synthesis of a polystyrenic polymer excellent in stereoregularity, having a high melting point, a high molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution, to provide a method for synthesizing the same and a method for synthesizing a styrenic polymer using the polynuclear metallocene catalyst. SOLUTION: The polynuclear metallocene catalyst is represented by structural formula (1), where auxiliary ligands of a transition metal compound are linked together by a reaction with a compound bearing two hydroxyl groups and three or four transition metals are contained in one molecule of the catalyst. Also are provided a method for synthesizing the catalyst and a method for synthesizing a styrenic polymer using the polynuclear metallocene catalyst. |
