LUBRICATING MEANS OF GUIDE RAIL OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail lubricating means having excellent durability that an abrasive resistant woven fabric body provided in the recessed part of an oil retaining sheet is not broken for a long time, even if it is applied to a high speed elevator having the moving speed of its cage of 120 m-240 m per minute. SOLUTION: The lateral side rims 46A, 46B and the base rim 46C of the recessed part 46 of oil retaining sheets 36, 36A, 37 brought into slidable contact with the guide part 3A of a guide rail 3 are covered by abrasive resistant woven fabric bodies 50, 51, 52 formed so as to have an interlock stitching structure of weft knitting by fiber prepared by liquid crystal spinning of polyparaphenylenebenzo-bis-oxazole. Thereby, even if the abrasive resistant woven fabric bodies 50, 51, 52 are applied to a high speed elevator having a moving speed of 120 m-240 m per minute, they are not broken for a long time. In addition, a lubricant is supplied to the guide rail 3 without having any hindrance.
