Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and optimally maintain a distance between a traveling road and a magnetic sensor without being influenced by the size of cargo and the number of crews by bringing the magnetic sensor close to a road surface automatically in a traveling road where a magnetic marker is installed or bringing the magnetic sensor away from the road surface automatically in a traveling road where the magnetic marker is not installed. SOLUTION: The magnetic sensor is placed at a height where the presence/ absence of the magnetic marker can be detected though the position of the vehicle cannot be detected. Thus, when the existence of the magnetic marker is detected, the magnetic sensor is lowered to a height where the position of the vehicle can be detected. After lowering the magnetic sensor, the height of the magnetic sensor from the road surface is detected by the distribution of the magnetic field of the magnetic marker to adjust the magnetic sensor to be at an optimal height.
