Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing roller capable of increasing the strength and also shortening the rise time, and to provide a fixing roller manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Plural longitudinal ribs 12 extending in parallel to the shaft of a fixing roller 10 are arranged on the inner surface of a roller core bar 11. Besides ring circumferential ribs 13 are provided on the inner surface of the roller core bar 11 so as to cross the longitudinal ribs 12. By arranging the crossed rib constituted of the longitudinal rib 12 and the circumferential rib 13 at the inner surface of the roller, thus the roller strength is drastically increased, the core bar 11 is made thin in thickness and the rise time can be shortened.
