APPARATUS FOR MEASURING WARP TENSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring a warp tension, having a simple constitution, capable of precisely measuring warp tension. SOLUTION: This apparatus for measuring yarn tension has a tension application device 26 for applying tension to warp Y drawn out from a warp beam 22 and is equipped with a rotary member 46 which is installed on a beam stand 21 for holding the warp beam 22 and rotatably supported on the beam stand 21 by a shaft, a bearing part 48 which is attached to the rotary member 46, positioned at an approximately vertical lower part of the center of the rotation of the rotary member 46 and supports a beam shaft 22 of the warp beam 22 on a shaft and a load detecting element 50 which has one end connected to the rotary member 46 and the fixed other end. Tension is applied to the drawn warp Y by the tension application device 26, the warp beam 22 is pulled in the warp direction by the warp tension, a load is applied through the rotary member 46 to the load detecting element 50 and the load is detected to detect the warp tension.
