Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a ghost image is likely to be caused on the slightly upper side of a solid part and a thick character in a halftone uniform image. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a developing device equipped withy two magnetic brush forming developing rollers arranged in parallel along the moving direction of a latent image carrier, and constituted so that the polarity of a magnetic pole related to the receipt and delivery of developer between two developing rollers is made the same polarity and a device to execute optical write based on a digital signal, and the optical write is executed with quartal or less gradation data per dot by this device.
