Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a high accuracy between the right and left side structures of a vehicle during the welding and assembly of a body, by means of reinforcing members connecting the side structures to an underbody. SOLUTION: A first member 20 is secured to the vehicle side structure 5 and a second member 24 is secured to the vehicle underbody 10. When the side structure 5 and the underbody 10 are welded and assembled together, the first member 20 and the second member 24 are spot welded together in partially overlapping relationship and a third member 28 is gas welded to the first member 20 and the second member 24 while in partially overlapping relation and is gas welded also to the side structure 5 and the underbody 10 to form a gusset with a triangular side face.
