PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of dehydrating/rinsing clothes sufficiently in executing the dehydration/rinsing process after the dehydration following the washing. SOLUTION: Water out of a supply pipe 9 to be supplied to a spinning tub basket 3 is made to flow toward the inner surface of the side wall of the spinning tub 3 by the action of a water direction changing body 24 integrally formed with a detergent container 20. The spinning tub 3 is rotated at a low speed while water is being supplied. Therefore, even if the clothes to be washed C is stuck all over the inner surface of the side wall of the spinning tub 3, water is sufficiently supplied to the whole clothes to be washed, so that the dehydration/rinsing can be satisfactorily executed.
