CABLE ANCHOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable anchor device which can make it difficult to draw out a cable therefrom, obtain a cable anchor state with high reliability, and improve the flexibility against the change of the cable diameter. SOLUTION: A pedestal 14 on which a cable 10 is placed, a pressing metal fitting 16 which presses down the cable 10 on the pedestal 14 and tightening members 18 by which the pressing metal fittings 16 are tightened to the pedestal 14 are provided. The pressing metal fittings 16 comprise a metal plate which is bent so as to form a tightened part 20 facing the pedestal 14 in its middle part in the axial direction of the cable and form cable straddling parts 22 on both its end sides. Bending angles between the tightened part 20 and the cable straddling parts 22 are obtuse angles. Cut parts 24 which are formed in the cable straddling parts 22 and accommodate the cable 10 have approximately truncated chevron shapes which are wider on their opening end sides and narrower toward their depth sides.
