Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite communication system which performs multicast switching. SOLUTION: A data cell is received by a set of input ports IP1, and the data cell including a multicast routing code is led to a first set of output ports OP2 or OP128. The data cell in which multicast routing code is deleted is led to a second set of output ports OP1 by a switch 80. One or more multicast copy modules 110 and 130 are coupled with the first set of output ports to copy a data cell requiring multicast processing. During processing, the multicast routing code is deleted, and the copy cell is coupled with input ports IP2 or IP128, and the copy data cell is transmitted to the second set of output ports OP1. An outbound processing module 100 is coupled with output ports OP1 and processes the data cell to transmit it through a satellite down-link transmitter 104.
