PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an SDI signal multiplex transmitter that can keep pace with the advances in the world so as to always improve technological levels without the need for development burden. SOLUTION: The SDI signal multiplex transmitter provided with a multiplexer block 1 that multipexes input data, an 8-bit to 10-bit converter 2 that applies 8-it to 10-bit conversion to the muliplexed data, an 8-bit to 10-bit inverse converter 4 that applies 8-bit to 10-bit inverse conversion to received data, and a division block 5 that divides the multiplexed data and transmits the multiplexed SDI signal in two way, is characterized in incorporating a fiber channel transceiver 3 or a giga bit Ethernet transceiver.
